Christmas Decor in Boys Bunkbed Room
Do you decorate your kids rooms for Christmas? I do! Are you surprised?? I would have LOVED having a mini Christmas tree in my room with magical twinkle lights as a kid. Wouldn't you? Actually I want it as an adult!
I have had the same Christmas tree for Finn for 3 years now, from Home Goods (this tree is kind-of similar). All his ornaments are pretty random, collected over the years. I always start with a garland on any tree I decorate, on his tree I did chunky felt ball garland (I have had that for awhile too).
This year I added these felt animals, that Finn was thrilled about!
I would like to add more Nutcrackers to his collection! My Grandma has an amazing collection, I need to take a photo and show you!! That Deer Head I got at Home Goods one year, this Etsy shop as similar. (He got a new Winter the Owl Diffuser too).
Lola and Finn actually decorated the tree! All while wearing their fuzzy animal blankets. Aren't they the cutest thing ever?? These would make the CUTEST gift!!! (Ella was at a friends when they were decorating, but I did get her a blanket too, the puppy. Saw they have a 30% off with code BLKFRIDAY20).
We had given Finn a bedroom makeover a couple months ago and built him bunkbeds. He got all new bedding at the time, so rather than putting Christmas sheets on his bed (which is really fun too) I just swapped out the sham on his bed for this festive Christmas tree pillow.
(If you missed it you can find Finn's bedding and bunkbed makeover here)
Girls Shared Christmas Bedroom-
We did this Skate Around Pillow on the girls bed, which is an easy way to make the bed a little festive rather than doing all Christmas Sheets.
Ended up mixing in this Pom Pom Pillow and this Tree Pillow! And this sherpa blanket (under $20!) adds the right amount of cozy!! (Girls beds are from here).
This Large Paper Snowflake was an affordable decor decor piece- obviously you could DIY that if you are feeling crafty! I like how it makes a statement like a piece of art would.
We love a diffuser at night by their bed to help them with sleep. An easy way to add a seasonal change is to put your diffuser in a metal house or lantern like this one.
The girls have had the 6′ rose gold tinsel tree for a couple years. I saw some here for a great price! (I put their tree in this basket).
The girls are still doing distance learning part of the time. I just love that they can sit at their desk and have the twinkle lights around them while they work. Totally looking festive on their class google meets:)
This year I added this 4′ Tinsel Tree in Rose Gold too! I put it in this stripe basket basket (such a cute basket!!) I wanted it a little taller in this space so I just put it on a side table!
I will share more of our home decorated for Christmas and kids gift guides soon!!! PS- you can shop our home HERE.
